Sungei Wang is celebrating 40th Anniversary with an outdoor Live Concert on 11 November 2017. Sungei Wang is one of the pioneers in the shopping centre industry way back since 1977 and led the way for many trends and fashions before shopping centres mushroomed all around the Klang Valley. 40 years is definitely not a small feat for any malls. After a series of anniversary campaigns and initiatives transforming the mall, an outdoor concert will be taking place as a grand finale of the 40th Anniversary celebration.
“It’s our birthday! The long awaited Bukit Bintang outdoor concert is back by overwhelming demand from the public. To showcase the local music and dance scene, we have invited 40 local artistes and performers to grace our 40th Anniversary Live Concert. Hosted by MY FM DJ – Emely Phoon & Phei Yong, the performing artistesincludes FS (Fuying & Sam), Jeryl Lee Pei Ling, Nick Chung & Stella Chung, Erul Samah, Meer Nash, Muse Girls, Mad August, Kozyy Band, Red Lycans and Firex. Sungei Wang haslined up a wide range of artistes and performers to awe the public with their talents. The featured 40 local artistes and performers will be performing fantastic arrangements of popular tunes from pop to soul, R’n B and beyond. The concert also showcases diversity such as from family band to local renowned rock band, Malaysia’s new idol, popular duos that everyone familiar with and infuse with popular dance group champions.
The concert is aim to nurture and promote the local artistes to the public including local and also international tourists. The concert will be taking place at Sungei Wang Main Entrance starting at 8pm on 11 November 2017. Admission to this concert is absolutely FREE of charge.
AlphaBAT Meet & Greet
Before the Live Concert, AlphaBAT, a popular Korean Boy Group will be making an appearance on 11 November 2017 for their comeback showcase after releasing their latest single in August 2017. The group consists of 4 members which are Ha-yong Ji (Beta), Young-jin Yoo (Epsilon), Jun-su Kim (Gamma) and Yong-Hoon Lee (Kappa). They will be the celebrity judges for Sungei Wang KPOP Dance Cover Competition at 2pm. Thereafter, a meet & greet session will be held at 4pm. Fans will be able to meet them up close and personal.
